WINNER'S ANNOUNCEMENT
Daniel Hughes, a graduate of Cedarburg High School has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2013 Lou Warobick's Junior Golf Foundation Sportsmanship Scholarship awards.
Daniel's willingness to volunteer his time at Cedarburg High School and in his community elevated him to the top of the Foundation's list of nominations.
Daniel will be attending Eastern Illinois University.
The scholarships are awarded annually to college bound high school senior boys and girls from Wisconsin who best exemplify good sportsmanship and contributions to their school and community. Golf coaches, athletic departments, golf professionals, associations and other golf officials throughout Wisconsin nominate high school seniors.
The scholarships are meant to promote good sportsmanship in junior golf. They are named in memory of Wisconsin State Golf Hall of Fame honoree, Lou Warobick.
