Dress Code & Etiquette
Hidden Glen's dress code helps maintain the atmosphere of the club.
Members and guests are expected to follow the guidelines below. Individuals not in compliance may be asked to adjust attire or reschedule their visit.
Appropriate Attire Includes:
For Men
- Shirts: Collared shirts or polos, tucked in. Tank tops and t-shirts are not allowed.
- Bottoms: Shorts are permitted. Denim, cutoff, cargo, or jogging shorts/pants are not allowed.
- Layering: Logoed or non-logoed golf hoodies are allowed. Sweatshirts displaying things like sports teams or oversized graphics are not permitted.
- Footwear: Proper golf shoes are required on the course; metal spikes are not permitted. Closed-toe shoes are required in all areas of the club, including The Terrace. Men wearing open toed shoes, sandals, flip flops or walking the grounds barefoot is not permitted. Flip-flops or slides are not permitted at any age, except exclusively for shower use.
- Hats: Hats must be worn as intended, with the bill facing forward. Hats are not permitted inside the clubhouse.
For Women
- Tops: Collared shirts, tucked in if designed to be. Mock neck or non-collared golf apparel is also acceptable. Non-golf-specific tank tops and t-shirts are not allowed.
- Bottoms: Shorts and skorts are permitted. Denim, cutoff, cargo, or jogging shorts/skorts/pants are not allowed.
- Dresses: Collared, mock neck, or non-collared golf dresses or one-piece outfits are allowed.
- Layering: Logoed or non-logoed golf hoodies are allowed. Sweatshirts displaying things like sports teams or oversized graphics are not permitted. Leggings or yoga pants may be worn under proper attire, not on their own.
- Footwear: Proper golf shoes are required on the course; metal spikes are not permitted. In the Terrace, clubhouse and main dining area, casual or dress sandals are allowed. Flip-flops or slides are not permitted at any age, except exclusively for shower use.
- Hats: Must be worn as intended with the bill facing forward. Hats are permitted inside the clubhouse.
For Children
- All ages must follow the same dress code as adults. Hats are not permitted for boys inside the clubhouse or locker rooms.
Course Etiquette & Pace of Play:
Course Etiquette
To ensure every round at Hidden Glen remains enjoyable and respectful for all, we ask that members observe the following course etiquette guidelines:
- Repair ball marks on the greens.
- Fill divots in the fairways using the sand/seed bottles provided on each golf car.
- Rake bunkers after use.
- Golf cars are not permitted in fescue areas.
- If you are playing at a slower pace, please allow faster groups to play through.
Cell Phones & Audio Devices
- Cellular phones may be used but must be set to silent or vibrate mode.
- Members are asked to be courteous and avoid disrupting the experience of others when using mobile devices.
- Music played on speakers on the golf course must be kept at a volume that does not disturb other players.
Smoking
- To preserve the comfort and enjoyment of all members, smoking and vaping are not permitted within the clubhouse or on The Terrace.
- Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
- Cigars may only be enjoyed in the soft seating area on the east side of The Terrace. Members choosing to sit in this area should be aware that cigar smoking may occur; alternative non-smoking seating is available.
- Cigarettes are permitted only in the bench seating area on the west side of The Terrace, adjacent to the outdoor restrooms.
Pace of Play
- The target pace of play at Hidden Glen is 4 hours to ensure an enjoyable experience for all groups.
- Please be mindful of your group’s pace. If your group falls behind, allow faster groups to play through.
